The CoWork is a community workspace born out of a need
We are a small, 2-person consultancy firm working in the exhibition and publishing sectors both here in the UK and overseas.
Looking to relocate, we tried tirelessly to find the ideal office space. With one of us travelling abroad regularly, leaving the other to work in isolation, it was a key point that our desks were in an office space that was shared. Inspiration and motivation fostered by a community of like-minded creatives was our ideal.
You might know the feeling: you’re a small firm, new start-up, lone freelancer, programmer, or designer. You’re at the mercy of isolation working from home; you’ve probably found yourself on more than one occasion working in the corner of a café.
A private office is not only expensive but does not solve the problem of isolation. Hot-desking is great but each night you must tidy the desk and move on, it’s like living out your work life in a hotel!
The CoWork is our solution – a shared workspace for business, where a desks is yours and only yours.
Where the value of chance encounters, brainstorming over coffee, or solving challenges over lunch is never discounted. Advice is shared, skills can be offered and guidance, collaboration, networking, and even making some new friends are possible.
The CoWork isn’t a place for ‘business as usual’, we want to build a community.
